Estuarium Concept

A concept phase project for Clarkson University and Hudson River Park Trust. Estuarium is an interactive exhibit that uses the subject of the Hudson River Estuary to challenge how we understand the relationship between nature and the built environment in a city like New York.

The research process for the project included interviews with key experts and stakeholders, audience interviews, multiple site visits, and extensive secondary research. The key stories found through this process and from discussions were diagrammed, prioritized and re-arranged to become a content architecture that represented the overarching conceptual design approach.

Role: Design Lead

I led and was responsible for the creative development, research, and concept deliverables.

The final deliverables included key messaging, a conceptual floor plan, user flows, a series of interactive exhibit schematics and key renderings (pictured here).
